Digestion Made Easy

In this 67-minute presentation, Dr. Michael Klaper, a gifted teacher with over 40 years of medical practice experience, takes you on a journey through your digestive system to help you recognize and understand the wondrous organs that turn the food you eat into a functional being – YOU!

Through this entertaining, illustrated lecture, you’ll learn about the organs involved in your digestion and absorption. You’ll also learn about digestion of carbohydrates, proteins, fats and other vital nutrients, as well as the important roles these nutrients play in your body once they have been absorbed.

Understand what type of foods to avoid, and what type of foods to eat, in order to maintain a healthy digestive system and to prevent and/or heal common digestive disorders, such as acid reflux, constipation and diverticulosis.

A healthy diet supports healthy digestion which, in turn, shapes a healthy you. Become more aware of the nutrient density of the foods you put in your mouth, the importance of choosing your food wisely and chewing well.

We’ve all heard, “You are what you eat.” Dr. Michael Klaper explains, “We are not what we eat; we are what we digest and absorb!” – and this fascinating video shows you how this amazing system gets that job done.

Note: The topic of the micro-biome is not addressed in “Digestion Made Easy,” but is covered extensively in “Leaky Gut – Is it real and what to do about it?

Viewer Feedback

I have this dvd and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to understand the anatomy and physiology of the human digestive system and how to prevent or reverse digestive disease. Dr. Klaper is a great teacher.

I learned more about my digestive system (and my body) by investing just over an hour watching this DVD than I had learned my whole life. This DVD should be required viewing for every human being. It’s like a manual for one of the most critical systems in our bodies. And you’ll also find clear explanations of, and easy-to-implement solutions to, a variety of common conditions, including heartburn, constipation, hemorrhoids, and even that embarrassing gas.

I am very impressed by this DVD… This is the sort of material that should be in the primary, intermediate and secondary school curriculum. Most GP’s (MD’s) and dietitians should get a copy too… Highly recommended.
